About

We built the consultancy we wished we could have hired.

Mt. Fortune LLC is a NetSuite consultancy based in Chatsworth, California, working with manufacturers and distributors across the United States.

For years we sat on the other side of the table — as the controller signing off on the implementation, as the operations director whose plant depended on the numbers, as the person who inherited an ERP that had been configured by someone who had never met a work order.

That experience shaped how Mt. Fortune works. We do not treat NetSuite as a software installation. We treat it as the operating system of a business that has to close its books, build its product, and ship its orders whether or not the project goes well.

So we ask different questions. How do you actually cost a partial production run? What happens on your floor when a lot is short? Which of your spreadsheets exist because the system never did what it was supposed to? The configuration follows from the answers.

How we work

Three commitments that shape every engagement.

Scope it honestly

We would rather lose the work than win it on a timeline we do not believe. Realistic scoping is the single largest predictor of whether an ERP project succeeds.

Translate, don't dictate

Our job is to turn business requirements into NetSuite processes — and to explain the tradeoffs in language your team can weigh, before decisions get locked into configuration.

Leave capability behind

Success is your team running the system confidently without us. We train toward that from the first week, not the last.

Meet the founder

An operator who became a consultant, not the other way around.

Allan has spent more than twenty-five years in manufacturing operations, supply chain, and finance — and the last decade bringing that perspective to NetSuite.

NetSuite consulting

Since founding Mt. Fortune, Allan has delivered multiple full NetSuite implementation cycles across Record to Report, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Design to Build, with particular depth in manufacturing. His work spans NetSuite Advanced Manufacturing, assemblies, BOMs and routings, standard costing and cost analysis, NetSuite WMS deployments, and multiple Celigo integrations. He builds the advanced saved searches, reports, and executive dashboards that give leadership a reliable daily read on the business — and he has done this across manufacturing, food and beverage, retail, eCommerce, and wholesale distribution.

Operations leadership

Before consulting, Allan led operations for a fast-growing superfood manufacturer, where he built an MRP system that let the business respond to demand swings during a period of rapid expansion, along with cash flow forecasting and costing models to guide the growth.

Earlier, he directed eCommerce and supply chain operations for a multi-channel beauty retailer managing a catalog of roughly 15,000 SKUs across marketplaces, online, and retail stores. There he migrated financials from QuickBooks into NetSuite and built the integration that brought retail store data in from a proprietary point-of-sale system — an early, formative lesson in what ERP data integrity really costs.

He also served as Operations Manager for a start-up beverage manufacturer, running purchasing, production control, and logistics, developing long-term capacity plans, and implementing the company's first ERP system.

Twelve years in beverage can manufacturing

Allan spent over a decade at a global beverage packaging manufacturer, in two roles that together explain how he approaches NetSuite today.

As Production Control Manager, he led materials, purchasing, production control, and logistics — cutting raw material inventory from four days to 1.25 and finished goods from six weeks to two, deploying Lean manufacturing practices, serving as Lead Auditor for ISO 9002 certification, and acting as SAP Super User training associates across the plant.

He was then promoted to Controller of a facility with more than $180 million in annual revenue, owning plant accounting, purchasing, and inventory control across finished goods, raw materials, WIP, and outside warehouses, and managing capital projects from proposal through final close.

That combination — running the materials organization and then owning the books for the same plant — is unusual, and it is the reason costing and manufacturing work feels natural here rather than intimidating.

Growing deliberately.

Mt. Fortune is built around senior practitioners. As we add consultants, we add them to the same standard: people who have carried operational responsibility, not just a configuration checklist.
